Skinny Mac isn't your traditional macaroni. This variety, traditionally known as penne sedanini rigati, is part of the straight-cut pasta family. This pasta, with the evocative name which translates to little celeries, has as its characteristic a slight and delicate curvature suitable to accompany the most elaborate sauces. Skinny Mac is suitable for vegetable based sauces, also excellent in a meat ragù or to prepare baked dishes. But we love it in mac-n-cheese too!
